A Bridge Between Two Worlds

Our Mission

As a Canadian Consulting Firm, our mission is to shape a diversified partnership with African nations that makes the Canadian economy more resilient.

A/ Who We Are

Can-African Consulting Firm is an international company, based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, with another office in Dakar, Senegal, West Africa, specializing in helping Canadian companies expand into Africa's fastest-growing economies. We work in a team spirit to connect Canadian Companies with business opportunities through trade and investments.

B/ What We Do

We help Canadian companies identify, enter and succeed in high-growth African markets. Our role is to reduce risk, increase clarity, and ease market entry by providing the insights, networks, and on-the-ground support companies need to make profitable investments.

C/ How We Do It

We bridge the gap between opportunity and execution by offering market intelligence and opportunity identification and analysing African markets to identify sectors where Canadian capabilities match local demand. In fact our clients don't have to guess where the opportunities are; we show them exactly where to invest and why. Risk reduction, strategy development, understanding local regulations, political dynamics, competitive landscapes, and financial risks are in the heart of our vision. We also connect our Canadian companies with trusted African partners and government agencies so that market entry is compliant. Our Vancouver and Dakar offices will work together to navigate differences in business culture, negotiation styles, and legal frameworks, ensuring they avoid common oversights and build long-lasting relationships. From feasibility studies to deal structuring to project management, we support the entire investment lifecycle and help implement.

D/ What We Stand For

By turning uncertainty into actionable strategies, we make it safe, strategic, diligent, professional, and profitable for Canadian companies to invest and grow in Africa.

Message from the CEO
"
Canada has the talent, technology, and credibility the world needs. Africa has the growth, demand, and momentum global investors are seeking. Our role is to bring these strengths together.

The companies that succeed over the next decade will be those willing to look beyond familiar horizons. We are here to ensure they do so with clarity, confidence, and impact.

Analyse des Avis des Consommateurs par Web Scraping & Text Mining

Consumer Review Analysis Using Web Scraping & Text Mining

📊 Data Analytics 🌎 Web Scraping 🧠 Text Mining 📅 2022

Workforce Impact Study : COVID-19 in Senegal

📊 Statistical Research 👤 Labour Economics 🌎 Policy Analysis 📅 2020

Strategic Insights on Canada-Africa Trade

Drawing on policy research, economic data, and on-the-ground intelligence, our insights inform smarter decisions for Canadian businesses looking to engage with Africa.

Report

Why Africa? Building Canada's Economic Ties to the World's Fastest-Growing Continent

In its 2018 Fall Economic Statement, the federal government committed to making Canada a more globally connected economy by increasing overseas exports by 50 per cent by 2025. This is an ambitious goal that will require a comprehensive export strategy focused on high-growth markets where Canada underperforms. To date, trade diversification discussions have often focused on the Asia-Pacific region given the well-documented rise of Asia's middle class. While this region must continue to be a focus, Africa deserves attention given its large and underappreciated growth potential. Meeting Canada's trade diversification target will simply not be possible without an Africa strategy. Economic analysis commissioned by the Business Council of Canada suggests that if Canada seized the opportunities in Africa, exports to the region could reach USD 6.6 billion in 2030, representing a growth potential of about USD 4.1 billion over the coming decade. The objective of this report is not only to highlight the economic potential of Africa, but to clearly identify the most promising opportunities for Canadian businesses.
